The headlines about Ukraine have focused largely on its fight against Russia-backed separatists. But Ukraine is fighting another, lower profile war – against the corruption that spread under its former President Yanukovych. And it may be Ukraine’s most important battle.
NATO Review finds out why: http://www.nato.int/review
What is NATO Review? It’s a free, online magazine looking at some of today’s most pressing security issues. It publishes videos, articles, timelines, maps, podcasts, cartoons and more on everything from cyber attacks to the effect of social media in revolutions. Or from energy security to Russia’s hybrid war tactics. Or even from water scarcity to the need to get more women into defence.
Most important is that what is published in NATO Review does not necessarily represent official opinion or policy of member governments, or of NATO. So the opinions you’ll hear in NATO Review may not be the ones you expect to hear. Or from people you’d expect to be invited to offer their opinions.
It’s a magazine that has been doing this for over 60 years. And in that sense, despite it being a modern magazine, it still holds to the task given to it all those years ago – which is to ‘contribute to a constructive discussion of Euro-Atlantic security issues’.
